These leggings are beautifully made and good quality. They have a very soft fleece lining. These pants hit the waist, not lower. In my experience they run a bit small. I'm 5 feet 5 inches. Height and weight 118-120 lbs. with slender legs. I ordered a size small and while I can fit them, they are too tight for me to be comfortable. These leggings have way more spandex than your regular leggings, if I remember correctly the label says 13%. The extra spandex makes all the difference in the fit. I think it depends on how tight things have to be before you start to feel uncomfortable. I bought two pairs and the second pair was even smaller than the first one I tried on. Personally I appreciate the added spandex to allow them to hold their shape and offer some form, the small size was too tight for my comfort level. So I would recommend, especially if you're between sizes, to go up the size unless you prefer a tighter fit. For reference I also bought a pair of Baleaf joggers with a white stripe down the leg and ankle zips in a small size and this style fits perfectly and is very comfortable in the small size!
