Review on Dorman 955 903 Passenger Power Mirror by Kevin Mckechnie

Availability I purchased this product after my wife tried to remove the passenger mirror from her car for the second time in a year. Backed out of the garage the first time and broke the internal springs and lost the parts that made the breakaway feature possible (because it broke back). Some Gorilla Glue solved the problem until the final event, when she managed to destroy the rest of the mirror after hitting a road construction sign that appeared to be partly on a main thoroughfare. The build quality was excellent and the part to be painted was in a separate pocket from the rest of the mirror so there was no covering up when a suitable paint was needed. Her car is already black so I chose to leave the color as it was supplied rather than try to match her car's pearl black color and risk the color not lasting. Installation was easy after watching a YouTube video on the subject. With any luck I won't have to buy this item again, but if necessary I wouldn't hesitate.
