Update 7/11/2019 Fixes the case charging port issue. I removed the case, took a metal file and filed the edge of the hole in the case a little, making the hole a little bigger. Now everything can be easily connected to the iPad with keyboard case. Overall I think it's a great deal and worth the money for this keyboard case. I have a hub charger and it was with short chords but with a slightly larger finger base. The base of the plug didn't extend past the body and I'm afraid I might break or dislodge the socket if I press on it. The other problem I see is that if you turn off the iPad, you have to re-pair bluetooth on boot. If you just put him to sleep or close the lid, everything is fine. In contrast, my Logitech leaves the connector fully open and any cable or device can plug into it. My Logitech also reconnects immediately even if I turn the iPad off and on again. It's still a good deal and I'm leaving 4 stars, but more like 3 1/2. If you want to spend $70 or more you can get a better one, but this one is great for the money. Immediately after the purchase: I received it today as a gift and tried it out with the new iPad 6th generation 2018. Everything worked right away, but since I have a Logitech keyboard, originally a value keyboard, I noticed a few differences. First, the iPad and keyboard weigh 7.5 ounces (1/2 lb) more than my Logitech. You might notice a difference, but the extra weight can help keep the keyboard stable when you use it. I love how easy it is to detach the keyboard and still have the back and side covers for the iPad 9.7. I don't quite understand why the keys are smaller than mine as this new keyboard should be able to duplicate mine as it had enough space to do so. The reason I bought it was because it had the same layout as Logitech and was great value for a keyboard like this. If I bought it for myself I could spend a little more money and get a lighter one. I like the ones I have except for the fact that some of the letters on the keys are wearing out. I don't know how long this new one I bought will last as I just received it and am giving it away. I was worried he might be tipsy but he seems really stable. I think I could get used to typing on smaller keys. I didn't notice any delays when typing. So if you don't want to pay a lot of money and you don't mind being overweight, I advise you to take this one. Before buying another or any keyboard I would compare the weight so you can understand the differences. 1/2 pound can go a long way for some people.
