My wife wouldn't use an antique bookcase because it didn't have a keyhole. and only when I asked her what she was talking about did she tell me that just a wooden hole without a metal plate around it wouldn't do. Looking around the Amazon I found her and when I got there I asked her what she wanted. God forbid if I wear the wrong one. I hope this helped you
