Tolerances are a little high
I used 1/2 of this kit to convert a 1/2" FIP to a 3/8" dual compression ball valve to a 1/2" FIP to a 3/8" -Compression + convert 1/2 -inch valve. MIP adapter for my toilet line and bidet seat line I couldn't use the standard tee that came with the seat as I had to merge both lines into one valve when turning off the water in winter to avoid freezing to prevent. The solution works great, but the 3/8 female compression thread is a bit loose - use a few extra turns of teflon tape and tighten snugly if you want the adapter to work that way.
