I love this stand up tree. AMAZING VALUE! It comes in a small box and is SUPER easy to assemble! It comes with a small string of fire lights. it is not pre-lit! It requires 3 AA batteries and comes with a remote control. The base is easy to assemble. Once you have the posts together I suggest that you wrap the lanterns around the post before sticking the top of the tree on top! It is reflected from the inside out. After that, it's not interesting to try to turn on the light. and lights RED, GREEN, BLUE and WHITE. They don't look their best on the outside of a tree with purple and blue balls. {one is an additive color model and the other is a subtractive color model}. The colors should look good through the tinsel. {This will look like a prism effect} I replace my lights with a chain of 100 LEDs where I can change colors. We have a color theme and I think that would be fun. The tinsel reflects little sparks all over the place and it's BEAUTIFUL! I think I'll light the interior with a single color and use small $1 spotlights to create a little "disco ball effect". I hope to use it in our front windshield. I couldn't find a tree that would fit in there, I'm in awe of this little tree! That's great! It fits perfectly on my round table and will work GREAT! The balls are attached to the tree with small hooks. I had extra rogue balls at the bottom of the box that didn't have hooks. I look at the tree and find no empty hooks. I could try wearing them with something else. When you put the tree on the pole, there is a "ding" inside the spiral tinsel. "Thing" is placed in the top of the rod. I just felt for it and pushed it in with my fingers and then slowly lowered the piece of wood around the pole. Everything is held together with stitches. I wasn't sure how durable it was. I am very happy with this tree. That is amazing! It's so light and easy to move. I could put it back in the box; but the lid doesn't close completely.
