Misleading: Accessories and Consumables
I bought this to connect my Blu-ray player to an old stereo receiver but there was no sound. However, about four months after I bought it and gave up, I read that HDMI and RCA are two different electrical formats, so input from an HDMI source CANNOT be passed to RCA without a signal converter in between. The usual replacement of wires does not help.
