They are difficult to manipulate because the bat wings are like hooks. So when you try to untangle them, it's almost impossible not to tangle them over and over again. Also, it's almost impossible to tell they're bats, either up close or from afar. :( They seem to have a timer which is good but overall I would choose a different product if I could redo it. Unfortunately I already threw the box away and hung it up or will probably be going back.
