I agree with other reviews, not the best option for chilling drinks. If the drink is already cold, it will keep it cold a little longer, but the REALLY useful thing for this is first aid. I work with a lot of kids and I can't tell you how many little ziplock bags are left over from icing small wounds. Partially closed they have been left soaking through my paper covered table, chairs, floor etc overnight. These little cubes are PERFECT. For small things, you can just give them one, put a few in a bag and not worry about where to leave them. Won't stay cold for hours so you don't have to worry about frostbite. Will use these and will be buying more by next summer.
