I live in Michigan where it gets very cold accompanied by humidity and wind, but I don't like thermal underwear that itches or irritates me. warm. This thermal underwear has a smooth and silky feel even though it is not silk and is comfortable to wear. It's just enough warmth under jeans and a t-shirt to keep me warm outside and not too hot to wear inside. i have to change it My only concern is that while it can be washed at low temperatures, it cannot be tumble dried. It dries quickly, but you must have space to let it dry, which isn't always practical when traveling.
