These are pretty bare bones. Charges via micro USB. There is NO cable or wall adapter included, but we have plenty of them. There's a rubber plug covering the connector to keep it clean, but it's not permanently attached to the stylus and is very small. Therefore, you need to remember where you installed it to put it back after charging. I've already lost it and I'm very upset about it. He's SO tiny. The Apple Pencil connects to the iPad via Bluetooth, but it doesn't connect to my iPad 8 via Bluetooth. My iPad 8 recognizes it the same way it recognizes my finger, so I can tap buttons and write notes in apps, but it doesn't do anything, what Bluetooth would allow, such as B. Angle and pressure detection. I don't quite get it because if it doesn't need Bluetooth then why charge? Except that it still only works when charged and powered on. So the iPad should recognize it up to a point. Maybe Apple is just smart enough to only allow full access to its products through the Apple Pencil and can spot the scam? Also, it doesn't magnetically stick to the side of my iPad like the Apple Pencil does. All in all, there is absolutely nothing special about it. general. And it still annoys me that I lost my port coverage and can't do anything about it.
