SO CLOSE to 5 Stars! The lack of 2 AA batteries means it is NOT Ready To Run. However, it was a blast for everyone to drive with lots of laughing and near misses of running into people. Even adults got in on the action and jumped anything they could find and attempted to make it go as fast as they could. There are TWO truck batteries, one installed in the truck and one in the packaging. Out of the box the installed battery lasted well over 20 minutes with pretty good sharing among the children. The adults were even patient for their turn. LOL The batteries take 4.5 to 5+ hours to charge up fully. This was a letdown and another reason for the four stars. Even with two batteries, it was a long time to wait. We jumped several things and surprisingly never had to flip it over as the video shows. It self-corrected every time due to its low center of gravity. However, because of those small tires, it drove through almost anything EXCEPT deep grass. In deep grass, it would simply not get enough traction if you slowed down. The remote allows you to slow down the max engine speed but really who wants to do that. The controller is fairly cheap feeling (very light) but did the job just fine. The truck on the other hand is very well built and lasted through all the driving the younger boys threw at it. Overall very happy but just wish it really was RTR out of the box as it says.
