This is a strong, simple clamp and if there wasn't a glaring problem I'd love it. But the two solid sides are not set at 90 degrees to each other. They're not that bad, and if "close enough" is your tolerance standard, you might be fine, but a simple engineering square will show the sides are wrong with known accuracy. Of course, there is no way to fix this problem. I don't know what to do with this thing. Maybe some sort of gasket glued to the metal sides (?) would help, but no buyer should do that. LATER - after trying to fix one problem, I found another. Not only are the two sides not set at 90 degrees, either side is not set at 90 degrees to the base. The whole point of this is connecting two things at a precise angle, but I can do better with a simple, store-made jig. Another star down. I don't know what to do with this thing.
