They work well for me. Not my favorite view but close. Getting ice cubes from one of them is a learning experience. To do this, you have to bend the entire tray and rotate it a little, while at the same time pressing on the cube that you want to remove from the bottom. The cube rarely pops out completely. Forget about getting all the dice at once. Not for those squeamish about fully extracting the cube with your fingers. Cubes in the outer corners are always the hardest to remove on these types of bowls and are best kept for last. The ease of getting the dice out of the corners put this strain in second place for me. Another feature of silicone bowls is that they must be absolutely clean when you fill them, otherwise it will be almost impossible to remove the cubes. No thin film from the dishwasher, no fingerprints from pulling out the dice. In general, silicone baking sheets are much more cumbersome to use than plastic or metal ones. However, I have been using silicone baking sheets for many years and like them best. I'm tired of constantly changing plastic bowls. I had my first set of silicone shells after years of constant use, and only now have they developed a few small cracks on the top of the wall. I like big square cubes. Please note that with this brand, if you fill the cups to the brim, the cubes will not become quite square. I also find them funny, with their quirkiness in getting rid of their content and standard of cleanliness. My appreciation for this quirkiness took time to develop.
