My wife and I had a Vtech phone for almost 7 years before the batteries finally died. We were looking for a cheap replacement and I tried other brands. For the money, this is one of the best deals. We only needed two handsets, and the features are plentiful. Caller ID, call waiting, speakerphone - all these features are there, as well as handset location, intercom and remote message verification. The kit includes a wall mount and chargers for both phones, as well as batteries. On this model, caller ID works on the first call. It saves many of the previous calls in caller id list. You can store over 30 phone numbers in the phone book for later use. The manual is clear and easy to understand, and if you lose it you can google your phone's make and model and find it on Vtech Canada's website. in 4 clicks. The only downside I could find is the lack of a headphone/headset jack. We had it on our previous Vtech phone and it was nice to have on helpdesk and utility calls, but this model has a mute button that works adequately. So far our experience has been great and I'm sure your experience will be the same.
