I have tested this cable on TB3 and USB-c docks and Macbook Air works as expected. TB3/USB-c cables are sometimes a lottery, you can never be sure if they are compatible with data, full charge or TB3. This one works and the price was as good as it gets. Typical TB3 cables are very short, but it was enough to get the laptop somewhere reasonable without the disconnection that poor quality cables can sometimes cause. I've only been using it for a month so can't comment on durability yet, but I was really surprised that the cable lived up to the specs (as far as I could tell).
