Review on Entryway Shoe Storage Bench by SimpleHouseware by Nikki Robinson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nice sturdy bench with a simple yet elegant design

I needed a bench that I could put by the front door to hold my shoes and have a place to sit while I lace my shoes or undress when I get home. I didn't want to spend a lot of money either, and the benches are surprisingly expensive. After a long search, I found this inexpensive bench and tried it out. I was concerned that at the current price it would be of poor quality and not strong enough to sit on. I was relieved to discover that this is definitely not the case! I found this bench easy to put together which took less than 10 minutes total. Upon completion I gave it a few nudges and was pleased with the stable performance, only experiencing a slight wobble. Its understated design blends beautifully into the wall and remains unobtrusive, while the dark brown top and bottom blend seamlessly with the wooden elements of my living room. The two lower tiers have 4 bars and are close enough together that I can even store my shoeshine kit on the bottom without worrying about it shifting. The upper is soft and very well cushioned and seems to be holding up well. I weigh 190 pounds and sitting on this bench feels as solid as sitting in a chair. For the price and quality it was a great purchase!
