At this price this is a great deal if you are making multiple of the same item. The finish is nice and shiny so it doesn't have the antique look that some of the other openers available have. They're not very heavy, but I was happy with how they looked and worked with the beer carts I attached them to. As far as screws breaking, they're fine as long as you drill pilot holes first, especially in hardwood. No problem in the pine. I checked that the angle required to open the bottle was such that the contents of the bottle squirted out when opened and found that this was not a problem. It worked well.
