Review on πŸ”Œ Dorman 742-600 Power Window Motor - Black, Compatible with Selected Models by Mark Gardner

This engine works perfectly

The engine itself works perfectly for my Corolla. This is the same and direct correspondence. The fork itself has many options for other cars, but once you've found the right one, it'll fit right in as well. Finally I can roll up the windows and protect myself from the rain. I just removed the windshield. removes the original motor held by about 3 bolts, swaps the motor, uses the same 3 bolts. I was ready. I absolutely did not use the old connector as another reviewer said. I actually had to rip it off because it was attached to a hole and I couldn't figure out how to pull it off without scratching it. As for the volume, I'm not the original owner of the car, but it doesn't sound any louder than the other engines or, as far as I can tell, the Toyota OEM engine that was there before it died. I didn't "tap" on the mounting screws either, as I've seen in several other reviews. I don't even know what it is but I hope I don't get in trouble for it later lol. Other than that I didn't see any lube on the outer moving parts, I'm not sure if they're actually needed but I sprayed some lube on them just in case. I've only been using it for 2-3 weeks but will update in a year or two if I still live/have this machine.
