My first set of paddles came with a carry bag but as I progressed a little I needed something bigger but not as bulky as a backpack. This meets all my needs. I can put my 3 paddles in one zipped area and my 3 pickles in another zipped area. There is a small pocket on the back of the bag that fits my headphones and a small set of gloves (for early spring/late fall play). There are two pockets on the front that would be perfect for my phone, keys and maybe some patches or tape if needed. The hook at the top makes it easy to carry or hang over the divider fence in the pitches. My 24 ounce thermos fits in my water bag but is very tight. A regular water bottle can be better, and a smaller bottle can be tied to it. To be honest I can't think of anything else he might need. As I said, I needed a small bag that wasn't bulky and bulky but could carry the things I usually take with me to court. That's it!
