The bedside tables are similar to those you would use in a dorm. It's not high quality. It is made in China. BUT. it is not so bad. We will use it and replace it when it falls apart. A suggestion. DO NOT follow the instructions. Use them only as a guide. Make it easy for you to assemble. Start with the outer metal parts. Attach the bottom. Note that I haven't said you install the top yet. You must leave the sides flexible so that you can use the interior shelves at the right time. THEN pre-assemble the shelves, doors, door magnets, door hinges and door handles. THEN install it in the device. THEN assemble the upper part. Assembly begins with the sides, bottom, interior shelves, and then the top. You will make it much easier for yourself. The doors don't want to close properly. The reason is that the screws holding the hinges to the doors are sticking out. The manufacturer didn't sink them. When assembling the doors onto the shelving pieces, insert the tip of a screwdriver between the hinges. Pull the door up and close it. This will "pop up" the loop a bit and make it work. The pre-drilled holes will most likely not match ours. You just have to choose the ones it works best with. Then pre-drill new screw holes to keep the cheap chipboard from chipping. Note that the wooden pins will fall out. Applying some wood glue to the pins first and letting it dry a little helps. Last note. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN the screws. Make her tight. If you use a drill, you're more likely to rip them off. BE CAREFUL! A cross and hex wrench was included to slow down the use of the drill. And don't put anything heavy on them, for heaven's sake. Lamp and alarm clock are fine.
