I tried a cheap device that was half the price and had twice the memory. What a waste! The software was poorly translated into English and looked more like an unfinished beta. Also, the reviews for it seemed to be shouters spitting dignity, all in poor English, as did the software. It was a 'new' device and while the performance and price were great, the finish felt flimsy and cheap. The software was also incomplete and didn't know anything about HEIC photo file transfer. Waste of time but Revane got it back without further ado than going to the UPS agent on the corner. So I rushed to PNY. Glad you did! Higher build quality, much better software, supporting most files on my iPhone X. Best of all, it works quickly and easily both ways, from my phone to MBP and MacPro. Much easier than downloading directly via iPhone and iTunes and much more convenient! I wish I had been smart enough to buy this many years ago! I would save time and hassle by transferring files between my old MacPro and my X! So although I've only been using it for a few weeks and based on my experiences with other PNY products I've used over the years, I would say the following. it's a good value in many ways!
