I was really impressed with how nice these were. I am just now getting into make up, and have been experimenting with various make up brushes. I've bought various sets from physical stores; from Wal-Mart to TJ Maxx. While I don't have the ability to compare these to professional brushes from say Sephora for example, I did buy some nicer brushes at TJ Maxx (supposedly they are professional based on what the box said, but I have no frame of reference: I really don't know what higher end brushes are supposed to be like). These brushes seem just as nice (or arguably better) than the set I bought at TJ Maxx. The bristles are nice and soft, and glide onto your skin quite nicely (so far I've mostly used them for applying foundation and concealer). I'd say that even if you prefer higher end brushes over these, you really can't complain about the price. As far as I'm concerned, I got a hell of a bargain given the quality AND price!
