I purchased this item in February 2021 and used it on our garage freezer. We left town in July 2021 and came back to find our freezer was off. The blinking clock in our house told us that at some point during our absence the electricity had gone out. Unfortunately, this device is defective and could no longer be switched on after the power supply was restored. I was forced to throw out most of the contents of our freezer. I retested this unit after the freezer had reached its normal operating temperature with no voltage protection. I connected the freezer to this unit and everything works fine again. I turned the freezer off for an hour and then turned it back on. The power fuse did not turn the power back on even after power was restored for several hours. This item is defective and I am angry that I paid $18 for it and even more angry that I lost almost $200 worth of groceries. It's too late to give it back to Revane, and there's no way to get compensation for the loss of food. Buyer warning!
