Bought in March, worked fine for a few months, now it's September and the device won't charge or save time and date settings. I thought it was at least recorded with incorrect information but no I checked the last video recorded and it was a month old. I even tried bringing the device inside without another camera connected to it. I just expected it to last more than 6 months, that's all. One more note, the 3M tape mount that came with it didn't last long, I had to tape the mount to the windshield. Update #1: I opened up the device and found the problem: the battery failed in a spectacular way. I couldn't tell until I opened the unit and it looks the same from the outside as when I open the box. They sent me a replacement unit with a return box and a label for the defective unit. The second block works perfectly as expected. I will leave my first review on site. I just hope the replacement unit they sent me lasts longer.
