Not durable for kitchen and dining room

Mine said it was metal and it felt like it. But its dial is made of plastic, while the "dial" is made of a piece of paper. I was shocked how badly it was done. My "face" melted due to the fact that he was near the stove and not on it. Any other brand highly recommended.
