This is now my favorite nightcap (when I'm not sleeping with my fiancee). This is a very soft and high quality fabric, similar to silk. Not heavy, but not thin either. I can handle the elastic, doesn't dent, and doesn't press on my forehead. Saves my pillowcase as I have large 4C porous natural hair that literally drinks oil. I have plenty of room with my beautiful hair cap. I have a very large head (too big for shop hats). This hat is comfortable for a large head. Yes! If your partner is a bully, I don't recommend wearing it, if you are looking for romance, it may ruin your mood. Just depends on your helper I think.
