Overall this mic works great. The sound quality is okay, but not professional. The USB-C connector is designed to work the same in any orientation, but on my One Plus phone it only works in one orientation! I'm not sure if this is my phone or this device. It also comes with an iPhone Lightning adapter and a regular laptop USB port. This microphone uses proprietary transmission. You don't need to perform Bluetooth pairing. You don't need an app to use it! This is a big plus since it is completely independent of the operating system or future versions. Note that the phone's transceiver protrudes slightly, which can make it difficult to use if you have your phone on a gimbal.
