I bought two of these for Christmas thinking mainly of using them to dust desktop and laptop keyboards. One of them was having trouble maintaining the connection to the base and I managed to bend the little 'prongs' to make the right connection and allow the little detailer to charge. Don't expect miracles after a full charge. It says you can use it in your car, but I could barely suck the crumbs out of the cracks in my leather seats. that was more annoying than helpful. It can work next to a radio, but a rag and some detergent will work too. The size is tiny, it's by no means a full-size dust collector. It's tiny and fits your hand perfectly. It is ideal for cleaning keyboards and potentially fragile electronic devices that can collect dust. If I were to recommend this to a friend I would advise them to think of the smallest jobs and find it useful for that. Otherwise I fear disappointment. This is a small device designed for small jobs.
