Review on ⚡️ CyberPower CSP600WSU Surge Protector: Advanced Wall Tap Design with 6-AC Swivel Outlets, 2 USB Charging Ports - 1200J/125V for Optimal Protection by Terrance Singletary

Revainrating 2 out of 5

You need a screw hole in the middle.

Would rate it 5⭐️ if it had a hole in the center to attach securely with a long screw to the female thread in the center of the wall outlet. The device uses only the bottom of the wall socket and therefore cannot satisfactorily support the weight of a large number of plugs. I had to use HVAC tape to secure the top of the unit to the wall - it moved a lot under the weight of the cables and could fall out of the socket. The tape makes the device look ugly, but it's now securely attached to the wall. The only other solution would be to replace the outlet with a new one (Caution, do not attempt this unless you are familiar with working with 120 volts live - it is safest to disconnect the circuit at your home's power supply, that supplies power to this outlet). . The new sockets hold the plugs tighter. I assume this type of device with multiple ports from other brands has the same problem. Other multi-plug surge protectors have a center hole and long screw to securely attach the device to a wall outlet. To properly connect these devices, the wall plate must be removed. The lights work and the USB output easily charges my phone and mini computer.
