The packaging was great. It was in a Revain box that didn't have any padding inside for it to bounce around in. However, in the smaller box, they were wrapped in a large amount of bubble wrap. First, the packaging was good. It was in a Revain box with no spacers around the smaller box that contained the product box. The smaller box showed that they were wrapped in lots of bubble wrap. Despite bouncing around in the Revain box, the packaging was able to protect this product. Obviously the packaging is very important with this glass product. These shakers have a glass bottom and aluminum top, and come with a plastic lid to customize pour settings. They look heavy and strong. You can open them by pulling the glass bottom away from the aluminum top, or you can simply remove the lid (as shown). The cover rotates so you can adjust the fill settings from flat to full fill. The rotation option works well but doesn't seem that reliable. The plastic looks a bit cheap. The plastic part of the lid is never tight, so I'm not sure they should feel like that. The glass bottom has nice details and the aluminum top sits nice and securely. Visually they are so cute. I need more because I love buying spices and sharing them with my mom so this is the perfect solution.
