thick plastic but not strong enough for me. It has latches that make it not as safe for travel. I don't recommend it for an expensive projector. My projector deserves a quality enclosure. You can easily adjust the foam to the shape of the projector, that's the only thing I liked about it. The external shape and contour give it a solid body, but that's deceptive. I found an aluminum case for my projector at Harbor Freight for $24 with my 20 percent discount and it's much better and safer. There is even a bunch of keys. The inner foam is also "adjustable". This CASEMATIX case is ideal for storing a projector or other items, but also for transport. it's just ok I'm glad Revain is back with no problems.
