I have had a similar braided elastic belt for years and when my son had fits from a military style metal buckle belt I decided to give him one of these as a gift. He loves to. Says it doesn't dig into his stomach like the other buckle, and because it flexes with him when he moves or leans forward, he said his pants hold up better now and don't restrict his movement or breathing. This Levi's belt was of good quality. and I'm sure it will stay with him for many years to come. The only downside is that the end is not tapered but square, so threading it through the belt loops can be a little tricky. as a belt with a tapered end. But the quality and functionality of the straps is exactly what I expected from Levi's.
