Review on SINGER Large Eye Hand Needles On Magnet, 01824 – Pack of 12 by Doris Tran

I bought this to replace the traditional small needle eyes that are used on many needles. I don't sew much, but when I do I tend to sew large areas. I would spend more time threading the hole than actually sewing. As we age our eyes wear out and in my case I became farsighted. These pinholes are literally 10 times bigger than my old ones. I can thread the needle in one go and the needle itself is thicker and longer than the one I had. They glide over the fabric and show no signs of kinks or breaks. Two small caveats; Because the needle hole and needle are larger than usual, larger puncture marks are left that may be visible to some people. Secondly, the picture and description show that storage is included, so I figured I'd get a small round storage container, when in fact the storage is a flat magnetic mount, similar to the mounts used in refrigerators. Funny but no big deal.
