This Rada is a really good peeler. The blade is made of very high quality high carbon steel and the blade is LARGE and SHARP and easy to use. Pros: The gap between the two pointed edges is slightly larger than most, allowing me to clean a lot without clogging it up, and that extra space also means I can take off a thicker layer if needed. The hardened steel blade STAYS sharp and removes without extra pressure. The pointed end is large and pointed, making it easy and quick to cut small pieces of vegetables (e.g. potato eyes) and fruits. The Rada allows me to peel more vegetables in less time than I can with traditional rotating blade kitchen shears. The handle is made of hard resin (plastic) and is dishwasher safe. Cons: - Just one thing: If the handle was a bit bigger it would be a lot more comfortable So far the Rada is pretty much the best vegetable peeler I've found in years. After a month of use, I've ordered another to keep in my kitchen drawer so I always have a spare on hand when the family cooks up a big dinner.
