Review on Acer KG271 Bmiix FREESYNC 1920X1080P 🖥️ Monitor with 75Hz Refresh Rate and Tilt Adjustment by Roger Brooks

This monitor was a good deal and worked fine for the first 6 months, then it wouldn't turn off after just turning it on so I unplugged it to turn it off, after that it wouldn't turn on no matter what I did did. I was lucky I bought Square Trade insurance, you would think I was lucky it was only $5 or so. I then filed a claim on the Square Trade website and was honest when I filed it and in the end after I filed the claim the claim was closed stating that I had to contact the manufacturer, because it was less than a year old. So much for great service. Long story short, Acer wanted me to pay to send it in for repair at my expense and wasn't happy I had the original box to send them, they said it was no good. enough, it had to be wrapped in at least 5 inches of bubble wrap. So if the original packaging was good enough to send to me, why isn't it good enough to send to me? Square Trade said they would pay for shipping to Acer, but I really needed to get an estimate! In conclusion, I wouldn't buy this monitor or expensive electronics from Revain and get insurance. If it was bought from Best Buy or Walmart , I would be home with a new monitor for about an hour and never go through the process. It's not worth all the time I've spent in queues and chats (4 hours) and still have to get an estimate then chat again and then send. It's just NOT worth it! Edited because this review received a lot of views. We just bought a new replacement monitor locally. And we've never bought u insurance without Square Trade insurance again.
