I bought two of these and you will need both. Completely waterproof to allow urine to evaporate. I sweep feces morning and evening. I have two girls and can go a week before changing pads. I shake out the dirty and then wash twice with an extra conditioner. DO NOT put in the dryer. I've tried aspen shavings, paper bedding, and pig cat litter. Rioussi guinea pig fleece food is less messy and requires less work. And the quality is excellent. I've washed them twice now and they look brand new every time. So far no stains!
