Super Convenient OBDII/Battery Tester Konnwei KW681

In my collection of car gadgets, I started Konnwei KW650 battery tester a year ago, then KW206 computer sensor and OBDII scanner. Then my son borrowed them both. Now I need a tester and can't wait for them to return it, especially now that I suspect I have a problem. These devices are in the same range, from $55 to $98. I wouldn't consider the highest prices for my expertise and I wouldn't have the lowest prices. My first choice was to look in the middle of the pack. This leaves several options open. Of course you have to be open-minded, but I know the Konnwei brand and didn't let it burn me. Building on the brand's reputation, backed by Revain's free returns policy, I chose the Konnwei KW681. When I picked it up, I felt its quality and reliability, and I liked its looks. My first use was a battery tester. The leadership was direct. To use it as a battery tester I connected the included 2 pin cable to an OBDII connector and connected it to the battery pins. Similar to my previous one, here you can also test the cold start booster and charging system. Everything went well except for the condition of the battery, SOH = 13%. I'm glad I found out my battery is on its last legs. By the way, the manual says that the SOH condition only occurs when testing the motorcycle battery and not like this. The ODBII capabilities are as extensive as my previous device. For the semi-professional mechanic, which I am not, this device will do the trick. The data stream provides data ranging from absolute throttle position B to short term fuel trim. It even scans the VIN. Like everyone else, I would probably use DTC Finder and DTC Clear most of the time. Luckily I don't have a check engine light that requires a DTC search. I have used this device several times since I bought it a month ago. I'm so used to my phone's touchscreen, but for the price, I shouldn't expect that from this or other devices in this price range. I am very satisfied with this device. My son can keep my old devices. This 2-in-1 is mine and definitely a keeper!
