I had a project where I was riveting a thin sheet of steel and a fairly thick piece of plastic and I needed rivets that could handle that kind of depth. They absolutely blew my mind and I haven't had any issues with any of them (I used about 70 on one project). The coat of paint is also sufficiently strong and does not flake off.
