After a lot of searching for an elegant solution I finally somehow stumbled upon this little diddy. When I bought it the price was lower, but it's still worth it for the money. It installs very cleanly on your stem and replaces your stem cap and pivots with a lasting good level of stiction that keeps the phone securely in the angle you position it. The adhesive cleat works very well, and as long as you use a polycarbonate case and prep the surface with alcohol, it stays stuck for as long as you'd ever want it to. Using a "floppy" TPU case may work, but the flexible material may cause it to peel away from the adhesive.Once the cleat is carefully and securely installed, the phone really has no issue. You can slide it onto the mount and with good confidence rotate it in whatever position you'd like, but I'd still grab the bracket itslef if you want to raise the phone's angle. I had a friend get one also and we both love it. It's a shame this product is so difficult to find when you search for "phone bike mount". All the other solutions in the similar price point are pretty clunky and inelegant.
