When I buy fruit, I like to soak it in vinegar and water and clean it. This spinner lets me do it here instead of taking up the entire side of the sink. I can put fruit in a colander, add water and vinegar, and let the fruit soak without disturbing it. While it's soaking, I can rotate it to make sure anything stuck to my fruit is removed. Then I take the colander out of the bowl, rinse the bowl and the fruit in the colander separately, then put the colander back in so the fruit dries faster instead of just letting it sit. I've also done this with other veggies as I peeled them. Also, I can store my clean fruits and veggies in it when I can't put them in the fridge. General usage is very simple. Cleaning is also very easy. I was sure I would keep it much longer than I used it, but I found that once I was done with the contents I would either fill it up with fresh fruit or veg or use it to clean new ones. Products I have purchased, or even both. Really made things easier for me.
