The good thing is that this row counter ring is stainless steel - I'm particularly allergic to nickel and don't buy anything made of "mysterious metal". ". ." Based on other reviews, my right thumb fits here so I bought a size 10. It fits my right thumb well as the knuckle is larger - too big for my left thumb. It's easy to see. I take it off to spin on the number and it can be annoying for some. The right single digit (for me) side moves slightly. The left side is a little harder to turn, but so far I haven't had to use these numbers. Needles gives the ring a little more room on the needle, which is usually held by the counter. This is useful for products knit in the round where there is no space for a counter but counting is required. I highly recommend Stricker.
