Expect performance for the price

Definitely my personal favourite. However, I'm not an audiophile, I'm not a bassist (mostly) and I'm not an audio snob. I'm an IT professional working 8 hours a day in a server room where the fans hum, buzz and beep at times. These headphones blocked out all fan noise and hum, without the added hiss of the cheaper ANC headphones. But they're not designed to block out sudden noises. So keep that in mind. The sound is incredible unless you're someone who likes an "airy" soundstage. It's like sitting in front of a performance, such is the airiness, you hear the sound of the music at the peak of the recording but not 100% in your ears. It appears as if it is fully focused in front of you and not on the sides. These headphones are 2 amazing speakers that clip to your ears and sound great! The bass is strong and can be adjusted at will. The music is clear and clean. Comfort, you can sleep in it. Don't tell my boss. The battery lasts 33 hours, about 48 hours of work and change. Loads pretty fast but I have a little problem with my pair. They're constantly stuck at 70% charge. No problem, just annoying for 200€ headphones. Not everyone has this problem, but don't worry if you buy this and it happens to you. Sony Headphones app, decent app, nothing crazy. Spatial audio matching is decent and how it can tell if I'm walking, sitting, taking a train, etc. It's brilliant, keeps me on my toes and keeps the hustle and bustle away. Overall 8/10. They cost $300, sound amazing, have simple controls, amazing ANC, and bass to keep you moving. However, the battery issue and the lack of a hard case are issues for me. If Skullcandy sells its hard-shell Venue headphones for less, so could Sony (although they have inferior ANC and sound but comparable bass). If you can afford it, buy it and you won't regret it. You'll never want to take them off again and it really helps anyone in a noisy environment. Thank you and have a nice day.
