This bag is good for the summer, but it's just a drop everything and check later type bag. There is a drawstring on the inside to close it, but no latches or anything like that. It's kind of a pain to have it closed all the time, so I didn't really use it. Inside, under the drawstring, there is only one small pocket, which was also impractical. So it is perfect as a cute summer handbag. After writing this I realized I've never had a strap as long as the picture shows!?
