Genius. Absolute genius. I bought this for my 15 year old cat who, in his twilight, has taken to peeing while standing and it goes over the edge of the box. I paid a pretty penny for a nice EcoFlex box enclosure and was fed up with having to wash it out every day. Enter the modkat box. The shield that mounts INSIDE the lip of the box is perfect. If the pee hits it, it runs into the box instead of over the edge. The box also fits the EcoFlex cover like a glove, utilizing all the space and allowing for more litter/space. The base is solid and does not feel cheap. Im not sure about the functionality of the liner but im trying it.Now the best part. The absolute best. The box that the shield comes in turns into an interactive toy.and even comes with a ping pong ball. Kiwi hasn't been so active in many months as he was the second he saw the toy.
