I recently bought a Samsung Odyssey G9 monitor. This is a 5120 x 1440 @ 120Hz monitor and I'm having trouble with the cable that comes with Samsung. This acted as if the signal was muted and degrading over time. Flashes, flashes, flickers, etc. After playing around with monitor settings, gaming settings, graphics card settings, etc., I decided to try a new cable. I tried the CableMatters 8K cable. I saw the same problems. I was about to return the monitor when I decided to try a different cable. This cable solved all my problems!
