Better than fur, not great.

I BUY THE COLOR TAUPE. I'm a snob when it comes to sheets and I've seen really good quality sheets and these sheets I would rate as below average quality. If you're used to Walmart/Target 200 TC sheets and want to treat yourself, you'll love this. If you are used to good quality percale or better yourself, you will probably be disappointed or at least overwhelmed by it. Color: Nice warm taupe with yellow undertones, not green (if you try to coordinate it). Durability: The leaves are thin, which doesn't mean thin leaves can't be strong, but I can say these leaves won't be very strong. I've washed them on a 17 minute express cycle and they've lost all of their shine and fibers and I can tell they shed with regular use. If you rarely use them, they're probably good. I have my doubts that this is long staple Egyptian cotton and if so it is poorly spun/woven. crisp and smooth after multiple washes and also very durable. but I paid $57 each ($171 total) so for that price they should be of higher quality and they are. (They really are breathtakingly gorgeous and the 800 TC will last forever). I paid €55 for this set and I think the price is reasonable. The sheets are on the lower end of average, I reckon a lifespan of a year and a half depending on usage. If you want them to last longer I would suggest a gentler cycle and low temperature drying, that will make a difference with these sheets. so long because of that. The sheets are not plagiarized, just not the high quality implied when they are said to be 500TC long staple Egyptian cotton, which is not uncommon these days. It used to be possible to find some really good quality reeds (some I've had for 15 years with fairly constant use that are still in great condition and smooth) and others that I've paid more for than the ones in 6 months tore. Check the quality and get a feel for it if you want to be sure, or a really trusted brand (I've had good luck with the Hudson line just hoping price means quality), bed sheets have become something you need in a brick and mortar shop. really sure about the quality before buying. The rave reviews for these towels undoubtedly come from people unfamiliar with really high quality and very bad reviews from people who expected it to be really high quality based on the description and thought they would actually get a deal for that smoking get price. With these sheets you get exactly what you paid for.
