I work with fleece and anyone who has worked with fleece knows that scissors break and when that happens the scissors kick back and destroy them. I've worn two pairs since January (it's almost May already). now), hopefully I can learn how to sharpen them or keep them from dulling so quickly, but I've cut A LOT of fleece in that time. They were $10 when I first bought them and that was reasonable, I'm not sure I can justify buying them as they keep going up in price (they're about $14 now). I'll probably buy a pair of scissors that are easy to sharpen if I can't figure out how to sharpen/keep them longer before they become dull. If you work with regular fabrics I expect them to last longer than mine. They make nice, sharp and clean cuts.
