A solid choice as a handrail for patio door frames.
I needed a handrail so my mother could climb through the patio door from my patio. I used 2" screws to go deep into the stud through the aluminum fairing and this grip feels and looks rock solid. I'm 230 pounds and recline, hold it for 30 seconds and there was no deformity or flex. It's very strong, would buy more.
