Bought to control my pool and spa over home wifi without worrying about my phone falling in the water. It's waterproof and I can control the pumps and heaters as needed. However, it often turns off. On its own, if it's not being used every 20 minutes or so, it struggles to reconnect without me going into the phone app to reset it (thus defeating the purpose of keeping my phone out of the water becomes). Also the audio cuts out to the point where I can't understand what he's saying and repeats requests/responses. Since I have many other Alexa devices that work fine, I believe this device is the problem. I'm not tech savvy but I find this device doesn't connect directly to my home network which is disappointing. It seems to connect to my phone via bluetooth and an app on my phone which in turn accesses the home network. As a result, the initial connection and communication is much more laborious and inconvenient than advertised. Ultimately, I cannot recommend this product.
